Ms. Shashikala Mallikarjunaiah, the founder of Health Care Services and the Enable and Empower People Trust, is deeply involved in various quality healthcare and education initiatives across multiple organizations and levels. With extensive experience working with entities like Doctor for Seva of Youth for Seva, Prajayatna, and Maya ECCE, she has collaborated actively with education departments, health departments, hospitals, Panchayat Raj institutes, the National Health Mission, self-help groups, adolescent age groups, and women.

Having worked in three states and 29 districts, Ms. Shashikala Mallikarjunaiah has positively impacted over 1.6 lakh beneficiaries through a wide array of social activities, including adolescent awareness programs, hygiene programs, and medical camps. Drawing from her experiences and observations, she has spearheaded the next significant milestone in healthcare through MS Health Care Service.

Mr. Mallikarjunaiah epitomizes dedication and passion in his role as the Director of the Inclusive Education department at The Association of People with Disability. With a career spanning over two decades in field of development, he has not only excelled in education but has also made significant contributions to policy development and capacity building.

His journey in education began in 1998, marked by diverse experiences across organizations such as MOTHER, Maya_Prajayatna, and Room to Read. Progressing from the role of Taluk Coordinator to heading the entire education division at Maya_Prajayatna reflects his unwavering commitment and leadership capabilities.

Mr. Mallikarjunaiah's engagement extends beyond his primary role, as evidenced by his active participation in workshops, seminars, and webinars. He has facilitated workshops on crucial topics like gender issues, public schooling structures, and community mobilization, demonstrating his expertise and advocacy in inclusive education.

His involvement in seminars and workshops organized by esteemed institutions like the Hwelt and Flora Foundation, the Central Square Foundation, and the National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA) underscores his dedication to continuous learning and collaboration on a global scale.

Dr. Sandhya is a seasoned professional blending medicine, counseling, and education to foster holistic well-being. With over two decades of experience as a Medical Doctor, Specialist Counselor, and Tertiary Level Educator, she brings a unique blend of expertise to her practice.

Hailing as a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) with significant time in Singapore, Dr. Sandhya offers invaluable insights into the complexities of a globalized world. Her journey, shaped by diverse cultural experiences, informs her compassionate approach to healing.

At the core of Dr. Sandhya's philosophy is personalized care, drawing from disciplines like Family Systems, Psychiatry, and Mind-Body connections. She empowers individuals to navigate their emotional landscapes, fostering self-awareness and resilience.

Deeply invested in psychoeducation, Dr. Sandhya equips individuals with tools to address issues like depression, stress management, and addiction. Her multicultural perspective, coupled with proficiency in multiple languages, enhances patient resonance.

With expertise in medicine, Dr. Sandhya bridges medical knowledge with psychological well-being. Her comprehensive support extends to topics like brain development, body image, and medico-social issues, empowering patients to make informed decisions and reclaim agency.

Ms. Paranjyothi

Ms. Paranjyothi is a multitalented and inspiring woman who has made significant contributions as a lecturer, engineer, entrepreneur, and dedicated volunteer. She has a strong passion for community service and has been actively involved in various initiatives for the welfare of society.

Starting her community service journey by teaching underprivileged students in an NGO, Mrs. Paranjyothi's inspiration came from her grandfather, who was known for helping those in need. She then pursued a career as a lecturer and later worked as an engineer for 12 years.

In 1992, she established a successful startup in leather garments, exporting products to European countries. She also launched a unique "Mobile Dosa Canteen" in 1996, which offered a wide variety of dosas and provided employment to over 10 individuals. Her achievements were recognized by organizations, and she received the "Best Innovative Award" from the Rotary club.

After reading about Youth For Seva in a newspaper, Mrs. Paranjyothi joined them as a platform to continue her community service. She began teaching spoken English and other subjects in government schools and identified the issue of high dropout rates. To address this, she adopted 12 students, supporting them and making her home their primary residence.

Her dedication to serving others led her to establish the "Kusama Jyothi" trust in 2017. Mrs. Paranjyothi also collaborated with Doctor For Seva to conduct health camps at orphanages and schools, ensuring that every student has access to healthcare.

As a senior volunteer and Vijaynagar zone coordinator, she actively engages youth volunteers, organizing meetings and planning activities for the upliftment of students. Mrs. Paranjyothi is currently participating in the Change Agent Fellowship, focusing on reducing school dropouts and encouraging higher education by personally connecting with students and their parents.

She also provides financial assistance to deserving students to support their educational pursuits. Mrs. Paranjyothi's leadership potential and unwavering commitment serve as an inspiration to many young people, making a positive impact on their lives.
